Very nice room, but who cares at this point. I'm sorry you lost your wife this year. I'm sure everyone that has read and submitted feedback to this thread sends their condolances. Best of luck to you and your family.

Sorry I haven't responded. My wife passed away on the 12th. Thank you for the positive feedback. Ubertaffy - demo of the original space began March 1, 2008 and the room was open for business for the 1st football game of the season. Too bad my Redskins lost. Dimensions on the way.

Very slick finished product. what's the total size "room" that this takes up (incl closet or anything else part of it)? also, what was the time this took?

Squozen...Right side of the room follows contour of basement wall. Above this section of room is formal dining and then garage which is set forward from the
rest of the house. I could have framed that section of wall "flat" but chose to keep the width since seating would be at this end. Also, this end was previously
a bedroom so I'm using the closet space for concession area. I have construction pictures if anyone is interested.

Collin...Yes, to-do list is acoustic treatments, theater seating, and anamorphic lens.

A question - what is the L-shaped section of wall on the right of the theatre? It doesn't seem to match the left-hand side - what is the history of this room?
Is this a floating space that you have created inside the original room?

other than some acoustic treatments needed, the room looks stellar and I am sure brings alot of joy.
