Thank you very much my friend for the kind comments on my setup. Yes there are quite a few really mind blowing HT systems here! You need to post your setup here also. You have a sweet system as well.
Bummer that the money you had set aside for a new Panny plasma needed to be used elsewhere. Sometimes unexpected things happen. But even though you're not getting it right now, you'll have that plasma soon enough.
Re the Denon A1UDCI, I have to say this player is awesome!!! I really enjoy the 2500, but the A1UDCI takes things to the next level! The build quality on this player is superb! Fit and finish is first rate (all 42 lbs of it). And the quality of the picture and sound, WOW! I am very impressed with this machine.
And yeah I've already taken the Yamaha universal DVD player out from the system. The A1UDCI pretty much demolishes it in every aspect, so no need to keep it in the rack. I was going to remove the Sony S300 BD player and Sony CDP-XA20ES but I thought to myself that it's always a good idea to have a few back up BD players connected in the event a certain Blu-ray title won't play on the A1. And I just felt bad removing my Sony XA20ES as it's been such a wonderful player. So I decided to keep it in the system.

Seth, my Man! How are you doin?! To tell you the true, I'm not surprised to see you here! You only have argueably one of the nicest systems
known to the civilized world! I'm sort of late to this party, but I've had a blast being here. There are some mind-blowing systems showcased on
this website.
I still haven't done anything new to my system. That's mainly due to the unexpected outlay of cash for my daughter's education. Why
unexpected? Well due to her negligence in submitting some very important documents to the registrar's office for a $3500 grant, guess how much
we were short for her tuition? That's right, $3500.00! So instead of my fun money going to a 65" Panny plasma!!!! It went to the University of
Delaware's coffers! Such is life! I keep telling myself, "It's for a good cause! It's for a good cause!" (Smile) Anyway, enough about me! This is
your gallery thread. How's the new A1 UDCI treating you? Has it driven your other devices to the brink of obscurity yet?! Hey, I understand if it
has because, I don't even have one in my home and your photos of the A1UDCI makes my components feel like they are about to receive a ticket
to the recycling bin!

This is one of my favorite HTs I've seen on this site! I saw a 70" Sony HDTV at the Home Entertainment Expo in NYC in 2007 i believe it was... and I was very impressed. I also like the speakers and all the other equipment. Nice setup! I give it a 10!

Seriously.. Can you give 12 out of 10? This is crazy good stuff. I would not leave home at any time. You need to put up a sign that says. No pets or unsupervised small children allowed in there. Those Martin Logans are larger than life. I can't even begin to imagine what the rest of your house looks like. The ONLY thing WRONG with this room is that I am NOT in it to experience it first hand.. .Well Done!!!

I am loving my Denon A1UDCI! This player is everything Denon said it would be. PQ on Blu-ray's is phenomenal! Best images I've seen yet! The picture has a very 3 dimensional look to it, and the detail and clarity are stunning. The audio side is equally as impressive. CD playback through the balanced XLR's is a real treat, as is the audio from Blu-ray movie soundtracks.
I have only had the A1 for four days, but so far it has really impressed me.

Well I finally got my Denon A1UDCI Blu-ray player! And I must say that this player is awesome! Best PQ and sound I've yet seen and heard from any Blu-ray player. I am very impressed with it.

Blown away by your set up. Envious too. I can only guess you either have a lot of time and industry knowledge to put together a set up like this or you have one of those trees where $100 bills sprout from. I'm so impressed by your set up I started e-mailing friends the link to the site. I've never seen speakers that tall.

I'm a sucker for electrostatics, so your MLs drew me in right away. I love everything right down to your new Berkline seats. I have a 50" Sony SXRD, so I'm a big fan of your 70" XBR2.

Hey Zepherman, check out my gallery. I got one of those amps! It was a toss up between a new Hi-def receiver or the amp.... I honestly think the amp has made a bigger difference than a newer receiver ever would've.

Wow, a virtual tribute to the AV industry of the past 20 years! I love the laser disc player and the Mini Disc recorder. I have always loved ML speakers and was fortunat to get a tour of thier factory in Kansas a few years ago. Very few systems will bring out the detail in a soundtrack better than your system.

Wow, raise the flag, the King is here! Outstanding. I respect that with your investment you have great cables and HDMI from Audioquest. Also it brings a tear to my eye to see 2 big beautiful Pioneer Laserdisc Players. You really get it, that is love for movies!

It's a HT room/Living Room. At some point I do plan on having a dedicated HT room built, but for now this works very well for my needs. As for the way it's all connected, well pretty much everything (with the exception of the Dish HD DVR's HDMI out which goes direct to the Sony TV) goes into the Denon AVP-A1HDCI preamp, and HDMI (video) out to the Sony TV.
If it wasn't for the Denon AVP, connecting everything would have been quite the challenge. I am happy that Denon included all the inputs on the units backside. Even at that connecting it all took some time, and is something that I don't care to repeat anytime soon.;)
I pretty much have everything I have ever wanted for this setup, now the only thing I'm waiting for is the upcoming Denon A1UDCI Universal Blu-ray player.

The cable work on this system mustv'e been a nightmare! But still, it doesn't get any better than this period. Is this a dedicated HT room or does it serve another function? (living room etc...) For all this gear, the room sure looks clean and elegant. AWSOME Screen!!!! Would you mind walking me/us through your signal path? Just so I can wrap my head around all that gear! (redundancy is never a bad thing).

That is one of the best home theater system I've seen I love the 70"XBR2 T.V that was one of my favorites yeah I have some denon stuff to the are one of
the best in audio and video and sony is the best in video.
