Elephants have long been heralded as acutely intelligent and sentient creatures. This Discovery Channel presentation -- which follows a year in the life of one pachyderm clan in Kenya's Amboseli National Park -- would seem to prove it. With actor Avery Brooks providing the narration and the IMAX cameras capturing soaring shots of the region, the film trails the elephant clan as they travel vast distances in search of dwindling food and water.
