Pretty funny family movie and good BD
I pretty much have enjoyed all of Adam Sandler's movies with the exception of The Waterboy and Little Nicky. Yeah, they're juvenile in humor, but they usually do have heart in the storytelling for the underdog and Bedtime Stories is no exception. It's a pretty funny film for kids and adults alike.
The BD is very nice, with a very colorful and detailed picture. The raining gumballs seem to jump out of the screen at you. Audio is excellent with great directionality and bass in the action scenes. I went through a few of the extras and they seem to be decent. |

Looked like a fun movie and it was.
The AQ & PQ are about on par with other Disney Live action movies.
Not one of Adam Sandlers best movies but very enjoyable. Kids and adults should like this release from Disney. For the Extras they fall a little short but the Blu+DVD+digital copy make this a good buy IMOP. Also be aware that there is a Printable coupon for 10.00 off I think it expires a week after release. |

surprised
I like Adam Sandler, ive been somewhat disappointed by his last couple comedies so i wasn't expecting much.
However this movie had some superb moments, and the storyline wasn't bad (considering how the storylines go with his comedies this was actually pretty good)
The PQ was nice doesn't really have many moments where you can expect some nice popping, but when they did they were nice
if your a Sandler fan you'll definately want to pick this up, if not then give it a rent |

Great family movie...
This was certainly not the most realistic movie, but for a children's movie, this was pretty darn good. I was thoroughly entertained from the moment it started until the very end. Definitely one of Adam Sandler's better movies. This was a great one for the whole family to watch.
And for the picture quality, as with most of these newer movies, everything looked fantastic. Very bright and colorful, crisp and crystal clear thoughout. A very good movie on all levels. |

Pretty good but not without its problems
The movie first spends too much time opening with Skeeter as a little boy. It gets hard to keep paying attention. The bedtime stories could have been more creative and the things that happen in real life a little more wild. Gumballs dropping from the sky is about as crazy as it gets. The story is unfortunately a little dull. The video is as good as it gets and Disney does another fine job. Supplements are left to be wanting. |

Me and my kids really enjoyed this movie. It was very entertaining. My kids loved the bed time stories so much. That same night they had me try and tell one. And boy was I way off! Yea it's you typical kids movie were the under dog becomes a hero. But I like how it was directed, the casting was well put together. Story was well written. Although I do agree with one review on here. That the bed time stories should have been more creative and animated. It's a fun and funny family movie. well done Disney and Adam Sandler.
PQ- amazing one of the best. great frame rate, Very clear and sharp, great vibrant colors, This is as good as it gets. I mean it is competing with some of the best Blu ray's. Now this is with out a doubt show casing quality and what every Blu ray should look like.
AQ- it was really good. I always expect great things from Disney and they didn't fail.
Overall it's a memorable film. well put together. most definitely worth of a rental. and possible of a purchase. great experience overall from story, characters, Picture quality to Audio good film. |

dont know if i would buy this movie, but it might be good for the kiddies. PQ is geat, AQ would be better but its mostly dialog so.. overall decent movie, rent it first. |

Not bad...
I was interested in this movie, not b/c I thought it was going to be funny really but more b/c it looked like a nice family film. I got pretty much what I expected. A wonderful film for the kids that I think adults will have fun with. Adam Sandler was really good (as usual) and Keri Russell did a terrific job as his "love interest". The story was actually better than I thought even though the ending was very cliche. PQ looked amazing in parts but there was one part where I kept focusing my eyes b/c of heavy grain. I still don't understand why a movie can look good for most of the movie and then a certain part look just like DVD. Anyways, colors were crisp and bright. AQ was fine as it didn't dazzle but didn't suck either. Didn't check out the extras. Bedtime Stories is a wonderful family film that I can see 8-12 year olds loving. Parents will love the "clean" script and will probably enjoy themselves once they watch. Rental recommended but kids will probably want to buy. |

Adam Sandler redeems himself... no, not really.
I was reluctant to buy this movie for the kids, (I mean, it's got Adam Sandler in it for crying out loud!) but I did it anyway. I guess I could have rented it but the kids were screaming at me at Wal-Mart and I had to buy it. Do I regret buying it? Yes and no. I liked the fact that it contained the Digital Copy (I have an iPod) and the obsolete-DVD version of the movie. If you're an adult you're gonna say the stories should have been more creative, blah, blah, blah but the truth of the matter is it matters if the kids liked it.
The movie was pretty good! It was entertaining to say the least --from my point of view.
Someone suggested to watch CLICK with Adam Sandler. From what I hear it was a good movie. Adam Sandler, you think is time you make some decent movies? |

average comedy movie, transfer was below average for disney. I was expect a bit better plot, the end is not bad, not sure whether is a good family movie, since it did use several not appropriate language like butt. |
