Great movie and ok transfer
This is was one of my favorite movie, is fun to watch, very original plot, perhaps is something you don't see in today hollywood film. Very creative and surprise plot.
Trasnfer was good overall, reminder this is a old film, there's no grain just not very sharp, but still good pq, aq was good, some nice sound during start of ground houg festival. |

Bill Murry goes Blu !
Movie- its just one of those movies that you have to watch. One of Murrys best performances. Who would have thought that a movie about groundhog day would work soooooooooooo well
Video- The begining credits, the first scene in the news room (everything before phil jumps out of the chair), and the ending scene are REALLY GRAINY but thats ok because the rest of the movie is flawless i found a new love for the movie on blu-ray it just looks soo much better and its hands down the best transfer of the movie so far.
Audio- Another aony release that has problems with music being too loud at one point then dialogue hits and its too low ... hope this issue can be fixed with future sony releases
Extras- Plenty to keep fans and everyone happy.
Overall- Must own ... nuff said |

One of my favorite movies of all time
Movie: This is one of my favorite movies of all time. It has comedy, romance, sad parts, happy parts, and a deep spiritual meaning.
Video quality: Not as good as blu-rays of recent movies but it's pretty good considering this movie was released in 1993. You will not be dissapointed.
Extras: Comes with a director's commentary track, a making-of documentary, an interview with the director, something about groundhogs, and a pip trivia track.
Overall: I'm very pleased with this purchase and will be watching it at least once a year for the rest of my life. |

Irritable? Frustrated? Cynical or depressed? Here's the cure; in an unassuming comedy about Murray's Phil Conners, the Weatherman, who solves those problems when he relives the same day over and over. Seminal film transcends comedy, romance, fantasy and spirituality; working as an attitude adjuster filled with healthy belly laughs. Andie MacDowell, Chris Elliot and twice Murrays are shining with every extra.
If you had a day to live ; would you be very good or very bad? Phil tries it all; for worse and better. This is a Sci-fi Horror, Comedy Drama with a boogaloo beat and it will aid in all moods.
Recommended dose: 1-2 a year.
BD is full strength. All versions are OK. BD better, clear and powerful. Best taken with a meal.

BILL MURRAY es un genio ˇ
Deliciosa comedia con un magistral Murray. La calidad de imagen es más que buena. La misma edición especial 15 aniversario en formato DVD es muy inferior, hasta el punto de poner en duda que superara en algo a la edición primigenia. Sonido fantástico. Muy recomendable. |
