My apologies for previous comments! After being tipped off at IMDb, I read the excellent review here by Dr. Svet Atanasov. He includes a note about region coding that's very clear:
"(Note: Even though the back cover of this Blu-ray disc states Region-B, this is actually a Region-Free release. There is no PAL content preceding its main menu either. Therefore, you will be able to play it on your PS3 or SA regardless of your geographical location)."
After reading this, I unwrapped my new UK Blu-ray DVD, "Region B", and popped it into my Region A player; IT WORKS PERFECTLY! The disc is, in fact, REGION-FREE! |
