worth the money to add 2 a nice collection, I would have liked to have at least seen the same amount of work done to the second that was done to the first. Couple bad bad scenes ... still alot better than the vhs,dvd... can probly find this for like 10-17 bucks it's worth about that... really isnt worth more... thanks WB if it gets redone I'd think about that |

Bad comments ARE warranted on this one
There IS extreme stair-step pixelization on the edges of white shirts and edges of faces and other things in this Blu-ray. I don't know what kind of TV ben7 is watching this on, but the other members comments are right on. Yes, the movie is fairly sharp and noise-free, but the jaggies on this one ARE noticible in 1080P full HD. And I checked it on my Samsung 50" 1080P DLP and a Toshiba 47" 1080P LCD. You can reduce the effects of this by turning up your noise reduction and turning down your sharpness, but it's still there and your picture gets soft. It's almost like WB used smoothing filters to get rid of the grain, then had to re-sharpen the image. I didn't notice this in the first Lethal Weapon Blu-ray.
LW2 is still a great movie tho! |

The magic is back..............................
In the year of the Batman, Lethal Weapon 2 brought back Riggs and Murtaugh for the summer of '89. Man what a jammed packed summer that was. Lethal 2 lost it's darker tone but amped up the action elements and tossed in Joe Pesci (who was lost in cinema oblivion) until his turn in this movie, plus my cousin vinny and eventually Home Alone and Goodfellas. His performance as Leo Getz introduces the comic relief that would go on through the next two movies. Lethal 2 offers up a fun ride with old friends an deepins the trust we have with Mel and Danny. They truly make a great cinematic team. This blu looks slightly better in the PQ department but a bit soft on the AQ department. Once again no big effort on Warner to give us a truHD audio track as with Lethal 1, and extra's are not worth a spit. Oddly enough Lethal 3 & 4 have yet to debut on the format. One could hope warner is working on a nice remasted set of all 4 films for release sooner than later. |

Wow! BEST Old movie PQ by FAR
Wow, I can not believe th negative talk of the PQ on this one....it looks absolutely GREAT! Don't choose whether to buy it on negative reviews of the PQ, because they are unwarranted. This movie looks like it was made in the late 1990s early 2000s, not 1989. The PQ is AMAZING. And the surround sound on the action is also very good. |

A so-so BD
The PQ is bad. I mean very bad. My PS3 shows the video codec as VC-1. Anyway as a fan of the franchise I had to have it, but expected a better transfer  |

Okay
After viewing LW2 i was kind of dissapointed with the pq. Don't know if it was me but some parts seemed to dark and some scences like the car out of the money crate seem to computerize. |

First off, I am a huge LW fan. That is why it pains me to write how disappointed I was with this transfer. The picture quality is way to soft in most of the movie. There is pixalization on the corners of certain characters. The Audio was edited poorly. Example, shoot out in the scene with Glover and the South Afrikans on the house with stilts. Gun is fired (Glover) however, there is no gunshot. Horrible... Just horrible. No effort was put in this BD by WB. The extras are hardly that. However, I guess we should be greatful that WB is even making BD's |

love the lethal weapon movies, but bad PQ and Audio on this one. The PQ was soft and sometimes grainy. As for audio i agree with blu-balls above it was horrible. But i still enjoyed the movie overall. |
