This movie is a very funny dumb comedy its not on the level off say 40 year old virgin or other apatow type movies but it does tell a good story. I thought the plot to this movie was fairly original not something seen everyday. The laughs are good but seems to be quite e few slow parts but overall a good flick. PQ was pretty good nice flesh tones very natural looking environments.AQ was kind of off a bit some parts were to quiet others deafening but overall okay. There are plenty of extras on the disc haven't seen all of them yet but gag reel was pretty funny. Overall very good movie good purchase if you like raunchy comedy with a heart. |

Much better than I expected
My wife and I were often laughing out loud. And I never heard of a whisper hole before. The combination of a vulgar comedy and a sweet story works well, and the rapport between Seann Willimam Scott and the boy he was assigned to mentor seemed very genuine and developed in an outstandingly funny way. The same chemistry did not exist between Rudd and Mintz-Plasse.
The medieval group added to the comedy for me. I have always been curious about the Societ for Creative Anachronism (just not curious enough).
I thought the hot dog gag was just stupid enough and well-placed each time to be hilarious.
The video was okay. Colors were vibrant and natural appearing. Picture I thought was a bit soft. Not the incredible level of detail you may have come to expect.
Audio was good as well. Surround sound effects were limited. Dialog was clear.
Deleted scenes and bloopers were funny.
Overall, I highly recommend this movie, if you are a fan of the style. |

Slaptastic Fun...
Pretty original story concept and an awesome set of comedic cast. The style of the movie is not for everyone looking for a classical laugh factor. If your not into little kids talking about adult content and foul mouths don't even rent it. That being said, this shizzznets is full of funny moments and a little romance. I thought the chemistry between the characters was easily believable. Even some of the small part actors/actresses had pretty funny scenes. In my opinion the PQ and AQ were decent. The extras were kind of short and know there was a lot more laughs behind the scenes, which would have been nice to see more off. This is a must rent, but I bought mines just because of Paul Rudd and Seann Scott, plus I got this under $15. Like I said before in my reviews, 99% of blu-rays are not even worth more then $15 unless there the limited/collectible edition and even then you shouldn't shell out more then $25, unless there the box sets. |

As funny as it is charming and engaging!
Role Models" is the latest Judd-Apatow style comedy, but with a bit of a twist. While nowhere near as narrow-minded and gross as the slew of films that inspired it, this is mainly a light romp with some unexpectedly moving performances. The film is far from perfect, but there are simply too many good things here to not recommend it.
A story like this one literally swims or sinks with its casting, and luckily this time they got it right. Both Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott do admirably without drawing too much attention to themselves (in lead star-making roles). The two kids are also funny and charismatic. Elizabeth Banks is underused but pitch-perfect. Jane Lynch (of Christopher Guest fame) plays a former drug-addict turned community service supervisor and nearly steals the show (minus one unfunny and much repeated “hotdog gag”).
I had a few problems with the script. They get most of the good punch-lines and jokes out of the way after the film’s first half. The remainder of the story is mostly on predictable autopilot, though the audience tolerates it; mostly because we've grown to like these characters. Still, it would have been nice to see something a bit more daring overall. The movie spends surprisingly a great deal of time with the whole 'role-playing' stuff; though often funny it isn’t enough to sustain an entire plot. Role Models is rightfully and correctly lauded, but under a close-knit eye there's nothing particularly Earth-shattering going on here. |

wasn't at bad as most people are saying
i actually thought it was kind of different than the other comedies being put out right now. liked the storyline and actors. not as many laughs as some others out there but still very good movie and deserves at least a 4/5 |

speak into the whisper hole
Bash me if you want, but this movie was way over hyped. Not as funny as I thought it would be. What you get from the Previews is as funny as it gets. I was really excited to watch such a well put together cast to deliver a classic comedy. But fell short of a decent comedy. It's few moments of laughter Were decent but nothing memorable. I thought the Movie became way more interesting past the mid way point to the end of the film. A few characters were over played. which ruined the comedy aspect and became boring. My wife and I we excited to watch this film. We had the biggest smiles in the begging of the movie. Expecting a good comedy. After the begging of the first dole comedy sequence are smile were expressionless. Half way in to the Movie my wife was a sleep and I with my elbow on the couch while my face rests on my hand. As they deliver the punch-less punch lines. Maybe my humor level was on low. But I didn't have a laughable experience. The best part was when they gather together for some live role playing fights.
PQ- very clear. great firm rate. soft and smooth color and motion. great detail. it's definitely a show casing Blu ray and the only exciting experience I enjoyed out the this film.
AQ- very good for what the movie is worth. clear dialog.
Overall to much hype behind this film. I was very excited to watch it. and was disappointed. I'd recommend renting it before deciding to purchase. it has a good cast but a dole delivery. |

Funny Movie
This was one of the funnier movies I've seen in a while. Many great characters. Tons of great lines. Got kinda slow in the middle though. PQ was good, AQ was good. Overall good movie. |

I was hoping for a little more, or something... I dont know this movie goes more for the sock factor of hearing the little black kid say the F word and talk about boobies (and see them too) then anything really smart or really funny. I guess it was alright, it made me laugh a lot, I had the flu when I watched it so maybe that added to my irritation of the little black kid, sorry cant remember his name, cussing all the time. I dont know, probably not tho. Paul Rudd was good, Stiffler was Stiffler even tho hes not Stiffler hes Stiffler all the time, so that's already a given. The movie is rental material at best. |

Hilarious
I loved this movie. It was hilarious. Paul Rudd is always funny. I definitely recommend this movie. I didn't look at the extra features that is why I put n/a. |

Horrible
I didn't enjoy the movie at all,
maybe it's just me but I wasted $27 on this movie i didnt even enjoy.
I even was planning on returning the damn movie but you can't once it's open.
another thing the trailer is better than the damn movie. |
