CHEVY NOVA!
I wasn't too fond of the main story, though the underlying subplot of brotherhood and coming together as a team was well constructed. Each turtle and and other main-characters were meshed out well. I thought the human characters were a little too cartoony, but the backgrounds and turltes looked great.
The PQ was very impressive. This is the first computer animated Hi-def title I have watched and was awed by it.
I am not an audiophile, but I was paticulary impressed with the sound in certian fights.
I haven't fully explored the extras yet, but by looking at the menu there seems to be a lot of them. |

Turtle Power
I was pleasantly surprised when I sat down with my 2 year old to watch this. He was glued to the screen the entire time, as was I. The PQ is some of the best I've seen -- a rooftop battle in the rain caused my jaw to drop. Audio is crisp, loud and immersive, and my sub thumped the foundation of my house with tight resonance. All in all, this was a surprise purchase for me, which turned out to be my best blind buy yet. This blu-ray is highly recommended!! |

Huge Fan as a Kid
I wasn't disappointed at all. Thought it would be a little bit better but defintely entertaining. Even my g/f enjoyed it and she thought it would be stupid. |

The Turtles are Back!!
I have been a turtles since I was in elementary school so it was good seeing them come back to the new and old generation of fans. This movie looks absolutely stunning. The Video quality is excellent! You can't really go too wrong in making a animated movie a blu ray release, but there's a scene in the movie *Leo vs Ralph: on top of the rooftop* that is just so amazing to watch. A must add for your collection for blu-ray/TMNT fans!!! |

Good Memories
Growing up with the Turtles this was a no questions asked buy for me. The movie itself pays homage to its roots while giving a new twist for a younger, harder to please generation.
Picture quality is great, definately a good showcaser for CGI. Audio tracks are good (though only 5.1). Extras, simple, but of course, who cares unless you're really bored. This is a great movie for kids, a little intense here and there, but nothing the little ones couldn't handle. Nostaligic to the say the least and gives all the giddy feelings you had as an 8 year old  |

TMNT never looked this great...
Growing up watching and playing with the TMNT, I was not surprised to see them come on blu and look this great, for CGI that is. The picture quality is outstanding, crisp and flowed. The storyline was good and the fight scenes were also. There could have been more battles between monsters/footclan/ancients and the turtles to give it a more audience appeal and just to add more action packed scenes. Over all it was an entertaining movie, but it lacked in the extras department like many blu movies out which is a disappointment considering its next gen tech. Still not a bad buy considering you can find it under $15. |

This movie was awesome, i really injoyed it alot, highly recommended. this movie was released with an AVC encode, and DD 5.1 track, though the 5.1 track was a blast.. |

I really think this movie is a must-buy,..............................
Ok, the movie was ok for the fact that is wasn't completely retarded. I didn't like the story. The story was missing something mature it. I'm not glad my brother bought it, but hey, I didn't waste my money did I? Anyways, I would recomend renting it on Blu-ray for people under 18.( Or else, unless you're fan, you'd be completely bored out of your mind!) |

Amazing...
I thought this movie was amazing!! I've always loved the Turtles, so this purchase was a no brainer. It had a good story, and some great fights. The PQ and AQ were flawless in my opinion. And the rooftop battle was definitely the highlight of the movie for me!! |

Great Turtle re-birth
TMNT is a great re-imagining of the franchise and introduces it to a new generation. I grew up on the Turtles and was happy to see they were faithful with the source material. The characters are cool as ever and the voices truly suit them well. The plot is decent but I couldn't care less for the villians, I want Shredder not some walking statues. The CG is fantastic and although doesn't rival Pixar, it fits the universe perfectly and everyone looks the way they are suppose to look and the fights are well animated and choreographed. I wish they went a little darker with the tone of the picture as hinted in the teaser trailer, the Turtles are ninjas not birthday party entertainers. Other than a few issues, TMNT is a very entertaining and funny chapter in the series. The PQ is outstanding and although it never had the fine detail of Ratatouille, everything else is awesome. The AQ is great but where is the old theme, they should have put that in the end credits. Extras are alright but they are on the light side and I wanted more featurettes on the animation aspect of the film. In closing, any fan of the Turtles will not be dissapointed in this movie, it has everything you love about the universe however the villains aren't memorabe as the Shredder. WB has put a lot of effort into the disc, creating an excellent visual and audio experience and the bonus material is decent. All this makes TMNT worth of a spot in your collection. |

It was a blind buy...
I was not disappointed. A friend check it out in theaters and told me that I'd like it, we were both TMNT fans as kids in the early 90s. The CGI may not be pixar quality but what is, besides Pixar? It looked and sounded great, anyone can enjoy it. |

Pretty good.
The story line was ok,needed more depth. Also I know this movie takes place after the Shredder
but I kind of missed him. I hope if they do another one they can bring back the Shredder some
how I have a great story line that would make a great TMNT film. |

Good for the Original Turtle Fans
Honestly, I think the core audience for this movie are the people who are 25-32 who grew up watching the original turtle shows. I'll say, I was disappionted when I first found out that this was going to be a CGI movie. But let me tell you, I love it. In fact, I hope there is a CGI sequel. As I said, this movie appeals to the older fans, but the younger fans can enjoy it too.
The picture quality is a GREAT. I would consider this a demo movie, ESPECIALLY the rooftop scene in the rain. I don't think computer animation can get any better than that.
If you don't like the turtles, steer clear, but if you have ever been a fan in your life, even if it was years ago, check out this movie. |

Turtle Blu-Ray Power
A really good movie.. i grew up with the turtles back in the day.. this movie takes the brothers to the next level.. in glorious animation. The movie is good.. nothing amazing but a good solid action animated film. I found the movie rather boring though on the 2nd viewing. The Blu-ray quality is outstanding.. great picture and sound. The level of detail in this film is really noticeable on blu-ray and this helps bring out the experience more. There isnt to many extra features on this disc where most of them last for a max of 5 minutes each.. The commentary is really good, i liked it! Overall a good blu-ray for any collection.. |

DUDE!!!!
This is a great looking movie the PQ is top notch in my book the sound is really good too. The movie it self is a little over the top for me though but because its ninja turtles its worth owning. I didn’t care much for the extra content, not really anything to get excited about. At least it has some extra features but it’s a movie worth owning. |

Good Movie, Questions Reviewer
I'm sorry for the comment I'm about to make, especially since I'm a big fan of the website, but as a reviewer your job IS to review the material provided to you.
This is my favorite part of the review: "Not being a huge fan of the turtles or special features in general, I did not check out the bonus material on the Blu-ray"
I can understand sometimes reviewers get stuck with material they didn't choose, but you still have to review it. Honestly, this review made me go somewhere else for a complete analysis of the disc. I'm not going to purchase something if I'm not given a complete review. What if I'm a huge special features fan?
Anyway, I thought the movie was pretty close to what I grew up with. A few things could of been different, but I enjoyed it. |

well worth the buy, granted its not as good as the first 2 live action ones and no vanilla Ice lol, PQ is very good Smooth picture audio was a suprise Very good sound... If you grew up on the turtles its nice to see the crew back together |
