I Didn't Kill my wife........I don't care!!!
It's rare that a feature film version based on an old television series can make a successful transition to silver screen. The Fugitive is that exception. Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones who won best supporting actor for his role both carry ths film with outstanding character driven acting. This movie gets better with each viewing. Unfortunatly for blu fans, this release is far from BD standerds. PQ is a mixed bag on this, not at all that horrible but one that could use a nice re-mastered picture. AQ is SD at mid-level. Extra's are fair and for the right price this is a must own movie. |

Really Good Movie.
This movie is very good. the PQ leaves something to be desired. The aspect ratio is 1.85:1 which is good, but the quality is does nto present the quality of the picture very well. |

Needs to be re-released and remastered
A great movie, but the BD-25 format (with corresponding low bitrate) results in a soft video presentation with little detail beyond an upscaled DVD version. The audio is fine, but with very little surround content. |

Great Movie, But A Half Asses Transfer
I just got done watching this. I rented it as I have it on DVD and was thinking of trading up using the Warner Brothers DVD2BLU program. I for one love this movie. It has a great story, great acting, great music score. Not much that needs to be said for the movie itself.
The video isn't bad, but it also isn't good for a Blu-Ray. It really looks marginally better than the upscaled DVD. The picture is soft and undefined. I didn't notice a ton of grain or compression artifacts either.
The audio was your average 5.1 track. It would have been nice to to have an lossless track instead. However, considering the state of the video that would be too much to ask.
The extras were the same as on the DVD, nothing special here.
Overall, this was a great movie that they just did a half assed job and were one step shy of doing a direct copy of the DVD to a Blu-Ray disc. I would love to see if they'll remaster this but at the same time, if you have the DVD in one of those crappy flipper cases it would be worth the upgrade just for that IMO since you can trade up using the DVD2BLU program for about $7. |

Not Worth The Money
Video is too grainy. Audio is standard DD 5.1. This release brings nothing new. In short, offers no more than an upscaled SD DVD. I would not recommend as a BluRay title for purchase. |

Good Film-Let Down By Extras & Grain
After sitting down to watch this film. i was very pleased with my purchase. The Fugitive is a very good release for a earlier blu-ray for a film almost 15 years old grain will be apparent in the film but i feel its a good enough copy for the collection. It would of also been good if Warner release U.S. Marshall's to go along with this release. All in all a satisfying purchase. |

Pretty decent release...
I had never seen the movie end to end before I bought it on Blu-ray on an Amazon BOGO, but I knew enough to know that it was a highly rated movie. Overall the picture quality was nothing to be amazed at, but there were plenty of moments when it was good enough that I knew it should be a pretty decent improvement over the DVD copy. A lot of grain in some place, but offset by a pretty decent transfer overall. The movie itself was awesome, now we need US Marshals on Blu-ray. |

This movie is really good, great storyline, and it says its incoded in MPEG-2, dont know if thats only US or something, cause i got it in VC-1 and its a stunning picture, and to think this movie is 14 years old, just makes the picture outstanding to watch:D |
