Very impressed!
I just watched this last night and I was very impressed with the PQ. I'm still scratching my head how the reviewer on this site gave it only 3.5 when it's very close to reference quality. Most of the time the image pops with a three dimensionality and I didn't see any heavy grain at all. Detail is also outstanding, especially in the darker areas. I was expecting a much worse transfer and was pleasantly surprised. Now, I don't own a projector, so maybe that has something to do with it. However, most consumers don't own projectors, so to keep things in perspective this one is an exceptional transfer. |

Well worth the money...
I was pleasantly surprised with the transfer. While there are some scenes that look awful, about 90% of the transfer is top notch. Great audio, and good special features as well. The only reason I did not give it a 5 overall is there is some slight room for improvement. |

goonies
my all time favorite movie since I was a kid is here on blu-ray and looks amazing and sounds awesome, I havent met one person that dislikes goonies and u can import this for $20 well worth it |

Goonies Never Say Die!!!
For those in the US, this will play on your PS3 or other Blu-Ray player. The picture is an upgrade from the 2001 DVD version, as is the sound, and all the extras from the original are there. Until the official US release is announced, I highly recommend this Goonies Blu-Ray to any fan of the movie!! |

Do the Truffle Shuffle!
Great Movie and huge improvement over the DVD, i compared both using Pitcure in Pitcure, the Blu Ray look fantastic, the outdoor shots is where the Blu Ray really shines, even the map is crisp and easier to read. Same special features as the DVD and in standard def. |

Chunk No Captain Chunk
Well I recieved my import of Goonies today although mine is different it's from Japan I think but it's the same.
Goonies is one of the greatest childhood movies for me and still love it as an adult. This movie will never die or ever get old and boring. I someday want to go to Astoria and Cannon Beach before I leave this earth and see it in person. PQ was great I couldn't see anything not good about it. AQ and extras were nice as well. It would be nice to see a speacial edition or an anniversary edition with more extras and features and have the deleted footage put back in the movie.
You must buy this for yourself you can't go wrong. |

Goonies!
This was my favourite movie as a child and still is. I love it! The BD version looks great! The PQ is awesome, i don't think i have seen so much of Astoria  the detail is awesome and you see things in the background you didn't see in the DVD version. AQ is also great, nice effects and usage of your surround system!
As for the extras: totally far out! My fave is the audio commentator track with all the now grown up child actors- really fun!
A highly recommended buy! |

BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME
This my fav movie of all time it get better every time i watch it, and now i can watch it in HD with HD audio. This is a must for everyone.
The picture is very good i compered it to my VHS, LD & DVD the audio has been improved on as well. will need to but a couple of these as i will wear the disc out.
Please please don`t make Goonies 2 don`t ruin the legacy (i.e. Lost Boys 2 worst movie ever)
Buy it and love the Goonies for ever

The Goonies R good enough
and so is this disc, looks solid for a mid 80s film, sound is also solid, and the commentary is still the best ever recorded |
