Delicious
A definite add to your Blu-Ray collection. The video is crisp and eyepopping, and the audio is stellar. Danny Elfman's score drips off of your speakers^^
The extras are pretty good with behind the scenes and a making of....and quite a few other short bits. The movie itself is a treat, with Burton's usual dark romantic flair and wonderful creative design. I must highly recommend this delightful film to all! |

Loved It!
First & foremost I enjoyed this tale even though it is a bit on the weird side. It's amazing what they did with stop animation and the Blu-ray transfer is well done. Dark and light are also characters in this story with the "underground" being on the light side. The musical numbers appealed to me. The 3 main characters were like real people who were transformed as the plot progressed. The ending was extremely satisfying. This is one my favorite movies in my library. |

Excellent animation, so-so film
This is another excellent animation by Tim Burton with music by Danny Elfman. The Picture
Quality is spectacular, showing everything in full detail with the subtle and creepy colors.
As an animation, it has excellent visuals. The quality even excels past the famous "Nightmare
Before Christmas" (also a Tim Burton and Danny Elfman film). This is a wonderful movie to view
and experience the full quality of Blu-ray technology.
The movie, however, is not as impressive. Although it contains original songs, a dark romantic
theme, excellent character designs, and superb animation, the story is not as good as other Tim
Burton films, and is lacks the spark that makes his work truly great.
While this film may never reach the infamous level of popularity "Nightmare Before Christmas"
enjoys, it is a good movie with excellent visuals. I would recommend this to anyone into the
macabre or just good animation. |

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton. Enough said.
When I first bought "Corpse Bride" on DVD, I was amazed by the animation as well as the story. The acting (voices of Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Emily Watson, Albert Finney, and more) was well done. I loved it so much that I went back and watched "The Nightmare Before Christmas" all over again. And now that I have "Corpse Bride" on Blu-ray, the movie shines even brighter! PQ was superb. AQ was exceptional, albeit a Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Special features were exactly the same as the DVD (nothing new there), but still great to watch. In conclusion, "Corpse Bride" is recommended on all counts! |

Good General Fare movie. Great BD Demo
The movie is a slow turner with some okay comedy. The dead thing does start to get 'stale' after a
while, but overall the movie entertains. The acting (especially Helena Bonham-Carter) is excellent.
The video quality is superior and one that will impress guests. Picture is sharp and no artifacts to be
noticed. Colour and shades have a dramatic life to them and actually advance the plot. Audio is okay,
but not too much of a workout for your sound system.
All-in-all worth having in the collection as it can be bought for less than the average Blu Ray disc. |

"I love a woman with meat on her bones!"
I was expecting some silly "Nightmare Before Christmas" rehash. But I was pleased with how this movie turned out; it was quite whimsical, gothic, and fantastic all at once. It has a pretty good story; it drags a little, but is still quite pleseant. The characters are good; voice acting is good; animation is flawless and excellent. Photography is great. Production design includes some great sets, props, costumes, and creatures. It is a musical; some of the numbers seem a bit strange, but are still decent.
The disc has perfect video/sound quality, and includes many extras. |

excellent bd
judging this movie on its own merits and not comparing it to other stop-motion bds, i thought it had a great soundtrack, top-notch video, and the movie itself was very entertaining. for the $11 i paid for this, it's a no-brainer. |

Do you take this corpse bride for better or worse?
This is a cute story of an arranged marriage gone bad. The PQ is great and the AQ although only a Dolby Digital 5.1 track is quite good. The extras are good but only in SD. I love this just like the new Coraline and the old Nightmare Before Christmas. One neat shootout to the father of this type of film is them playing a Harryhausen piano. |

Excellent movie, perfect Blu ray
The movie was really excellent. Just a little bit short (77 mins.), but even in that short amount of time the story drags you in to it. With perfect rendering on Blu ray this really is a must buy disc.
I also recommend A Nightmare Before Christmas. |

Good enough
This isnt Nightmare Before Christmas at all but it still has its place in the movie library. The PQ and AQ are good, and the movie itself has alot of dark humor, another musical to add to the collection. |

Not bad for tim burton films but could have been better.
The film alot of ways very close in visual when comparing to corpe bride, is creepy and charaters does kinda look alike. But story line was been too slow, and simply lack of action. Nightmare before christmas is anyway better, video transfer is pretty good but i see other animation especialy disney does better job. Sound is big dissapoting, no pcm or hd audio just basic dvd set up 5.1 Dolby. Sound ok but don't expect much in base. Is good for rent i got it from the sony free blu-ray. I should had pick chicken little over this. |

I really liked Corpe Bride it was a great movie i still prefer Nightmare Before Christmas but its still good. The video was just ok not great. Audio was ok but could of been better. Extras were good. |
