Another enjoyable nature series
The BBC have many tough acts to follow so just keeping up is quite an achievement, I enjoyed this series very much and it is beautifully filmed with fine picture quality and more than adequate sound.
Perhaps it is the nature of Yellowstone but I found the story telling not quite as sequential as some of their other projects. Despite some quite magnificent shots - the coyote catching his mouse under the snow is one and the elk escaping from the wolves in the river is another - I missed the more dramatic sequences that some of the other series have delivered. It really is life in the park rather than a selection of high adrenalin moments. There were times when I would have liked a little less close up photography, which now and again was so close one could not see clearly what was going on. The wider picture was given less space. I do not wish to nit pick however and on the whole this is a very fine series and at the price offered is a bargain for anyone interested in the BBC nature series. |

Very Beautiful.
Just watched this last night and this movie is simply beautiful to watch. Another fantastic effort by the BBC to put Yellowstone in a whole new light that I never have seen before. Fantastic PQ and Audio and a must have to have in your collection. Or a must rent for sure. |

Better than the guy above me says it is
I have nothing negative to say about this release. Videophiles will strain to find blemishes, audiphiles will be watching loud shoot em up movies and will know not to expect the same type of sound here.
I could care less about "High adrenaline moments" as well because everything that is here is presented beautifully.
I have been to the place countless dozens of time and considered myself to have a pretty good knowledge but this doc. proved that there is still so much to learn. Aerial photography is top notch and you've got to doff your cap to the guys who filmed in some of the worst winter conditions I've ever seen on film.
Fans of BBC earth team will not be let down, this is a top tier release. |
