Alex Cross Blu-ray

Posted November 27, 2012 06:16 PM by Webmaster

Summit EntertainmentSummit Entertainment, a Lionsgate company, has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray Rob Cohen's (The Fast and the Furious) action thriller Alex Cross (2012), starring Tyler Perry, Matthew Fox, Jean Reno, and Rachel Nichols. The release will hit retail shelves on February 5th.

Based on the novel "Cross" by James Patterson and popularized by Morgan Freeman in Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider, Tyler Perry takes over as Dr. Alex Cross, a homicide detective/psychologist with the Detroit Police Department. Cross meets his match in a dangerous serial killer (Fox). The two face off in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, but when the mission gets personal, Cross is pushed to the edge of his moral and psychological limits.

Special Features:
  • Audio Commentary with Rob Cohen
  • "The Psychologist and the Butcher: Adapting and Filming Alex Cross" featurette
  • Deleted Scenes

Well this is a gigantic pass. Nice call on casting Tyler Perry for this one, nothing like killing a franchise before it starts.

I still remember when this was rumored to star Idris Elba and a lot of people were looking forward to it, that sure changed in a hurry.

Maybe they should have gotten RuPaul to play Alex Cross Morgan Freeman nailed the character when he played Cross in both of his films.

Tyler Perry is a fat fuck with zero talent. I will go take a shit right now and it will automatically have more appeal than anything involving Tyler Perry.

seigneur_rayden, you either have a seriously bad taste in movies and acting, or you're mentally "slow." Either way I feel sorry for you.
