Warner Bros and Village Roadshow Extend Partnership

Warner Bros and Village Roadshow announced that they have extended their partnership until 2017. Village Roadshow has also secured $1.125 billion to finance future projects. The two companies became partners in 1997.
Village Roadshow has produced 72 movies since its founding 15 years ago, and 68 of them have been distributed by Warner Bros. Amongst the company's biggest hits are the Sherlock Holmes series and the Matrix films. Notable upcoming projects include All You Need is Kill (2014) with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, The Great Gatsby (2013) with Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan, Gangster Squad (2013) with Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, Mad Max: Fury Road (2013) with Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, and Lego: The Movie (2014) with Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson and Alison Brie.
