Lionsgate Films have officially announced that they will release on Blu-ray Tyler Perry's Madea Gets A Job. The uplifting production features Tyler Perry, crowd favorite Patrice Lovely (I Don't Want to Do Wrong), Cheryl Pepsii Riley (Why Did I Get Married?) and Chandra Currelley-Young (Madea's Big Happy Family). Street date is February 5th.
Tyler Perry's new musical stage play stars the infamous Mabel "Madea" Simmons. When a judge orders Madea to do 20 hours of community service at a local retirement home, the residents and staff are not ready for Madea's brand of "the truth", but all is well that ends well when Madea helps the residents of Easy Rest Retirement Home realize the importance of family, love and forgiveness.

Behind the Curtain with the cast of Madea Gets a Job - featurette
^ or Tyler Perry's "Madea Does Alex Cross: Transsexual Masturbation"
@ChadFL: Tyler tried to get a real job (Alex Cross), and it failed miserably. The dude is like Bob Denver and Gilligan, irredeemably typecast. If you look at it, he's pretty much washed up. Madea sucks balls, and he can never play anything else without heavy criticism.
I work at a hospital, and the only people I have ever seen enjoying a Madea movie are blacks, children, or black children.
