Anchor Bay Home Entertainment has revealed that it is planning to bring to Blu-ray director Douglas Schulze's horror film Mimesis (2011). Exact technical specs and supplemental features to be included on this release are yet to be revealed, but the preliminary release date set by the studio is February 12th.
A group of horror fans find themselves unwilling participants in a nightmarish role playing game that pays homage to the classic horror film Night of the Living Dead. Mimesis is produced by Douglas Schulze and Kurt Mayry (Dark Heaven) and starring Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn, The 'Burbs), Allen Maldonado (Midnight Meat Train, Live Free or Die Hard), Gavin Grazer (Cowboys and Aliens, Frost/Nixon) and Sid Haig (Devil's Rejects, Jackie Brown).

Sorry Metal Mike, you must be confusing this with another movie. (or were you being sarcastic?)
Like the synopsis says, Mimesis is about a group of serial killers who kidnap a bunch of people and make them mimic the original night of the living dead.
Saw it in Chicago where it one Best Feature. Rue Morgue magazine gave it an excellent review. I really dug it. Most original horror flick I've seen in years.
