Amazon is currently offering a $5 off coupon to be used towards Wreck It Ralph 3D Blu-ray, which
is set for release on March 5th, 2013.
Those who wish to take advantage of this offer need only to visit the titles Amazon
page and click the "Clip this coupon" button located just above the "Special Offers and
Product Promotions" section. The button will then turn into the green-bolded statement,
"You have clipped this coupon," and $5 will be deducted from the order total at
checkout.
Should Amazon reduce the price between now and the release date of the title, the
$5 discount will also apply to the lower price, provided you lock in the coupon while
Amazon is still offering it.
Last time I used one of these coupons on a pre-order, I believe it was Avengers, the price at release ended up being five dollars cheaper. I thought I'd end up getting a really good deal by paying the release date selling price MINUS the five dollar coupon..... nope, Amazon ended up changing the price so that I'd pay the same if I would've pre-ordered it normally.
Misterleadfoot - you must have done something wrong. You should have gotten the cheapest price minus the the coupon. These preorders with coupon are awesome as the price usually drops to 25 or lower meaning you get a great deal.
@misterleadfoot, like hazzad said, you must've done something wrong, release day price for Avengers was 19.99 minus the $5 coupon brought it to $14.99. You might have forgot to clip the coupon.
Thanks guys, I got a hold of Amazon and they're refunding me the difference. They originally charged me $24.95 (not $19.99) minus the $5 coupon (+ shipping charges). So the coupons are again a-okay in my book! lol
