Blu-ray.com and Lionsgate Films are offering five members a chance to win
various prize packages which include a copy of Dredd 3D. One
grand prize winner will receive a copy of Dredd on Blu-ray, a poster
signed by stars Karl Urban and Olivia Thirlby, a comic book and a badge.
Four runners up will receive a copy of Dredd on Blu-ray.
Dredd streets January 8 and will be available on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-
ray, and DVD.
To enter, simply add a comment to this news post with your
favorite film set in a dystopian future. (There are no right or wrong
answers.)
The contest is open to all Blu-ray.com members (membership is completely
free, click here to join).

Even though it didn't happen and is now way beyond the listed dates, Escape from New York has always been a favorite of mine and still tops the fubar future genre for me. Runner-up = They Live, cuz that is happening.
I just saw the restored version of Metropolis for the first time. It gets my vote.
Was surprised at just how much the themes have held up over time. Acting and technical presentation were dated, but the story itself was almost revelatory.
I actually rather liked Book of Eli. Loved the religious slant; provided something different from the other dystopias that are prevalent in movies today.
