Paramount Home Media Distribution has officially announced and detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of Robert Zemeckis' Flight (2012), starring Denzel Washington, Nadine Velazquez, and Carter Cabassa. The release will be available for purchase on February 5th.
Hailed by critics and audiences alike, Flight is directed by renowned filmmaker Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Cast Away) and stars the incomparable Denzel Washington in a performance that has earned him Golden Globe, SAG and Critics' Choice award nominations. Written by John Gatins, the film tells the story of Captain Whip Whitaker, who saves a flight from crashing by performing a skilled emergency landing that saves the lives of everyone on board. But the subsequent investigation into the incident leads to the suggestion that Whitaker had alcohol in his system during the flight, an allegation that could see him being sent to prison.
i thought this was a great movie with very good replay value. If you like Cast Away and Forrest Gump as much as i do then you will have enjoy with this one too

I agree that the movie was much better than expected, with Washington giving a brilliantly nuanced performance that stuck with me for days. I don't think he's ever been better.
