Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released an exciting new clip from the upcoming Blu-ray release of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2. In it, Batman (voiced by Peter Weller) fights a Gotham City SWAT team led by Commissioner Gordon's replacement, Ellen Yindel (Maria Canals-Barrera). The conclusion to director Jay Oliva's two-part adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel arrives on January 29, 2013.
As Part 2 opens, the Dark Knight, along with new sidekick Robin (Ariel Winter), have finally reclaimed Gotham City and allowed a ray of hope to penetrate the reign of terror that The Mutants had cast upon his city. But with Batman back in the spotlight, the extended media coverage has awoken a far worse evil at Arkham Asylum: The Joker (Michael Emerson). Forever destined to be mortal enemies, The Joker has a diabolical scheme that may pull Batman down to the darkest levels of insanity. Meanwhile, on the horizon, a global catastrophe races towards Gotham and with it a familiar face: The Man of Steel (Mark Valley), though this time he has Batman in his sights. Witness as the aging Dark Knight wages a tireless war against crime while proving that courage and will are indeed timeless.
Same here its kinda cheezy they released both parts months apart, just to double the sales. But ill wait as they will come out as 1 package together and probably at a reduced rate as well, and ill bet they have "additional" scenes added not in previous version
after seeing the other AWESOME animated DC ones I was kinda let down by this one... I guess I don't dig Robocop being the batman... and dude... he looks like he came in 4th place at a comic-con convention with that gut!
