Summit Entertainment, a Lionsgate Company, has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1. The release will be available for purchase online and in stores across the nation on March 2.
Now with eight minutes of new and extended scenes added back into the film by Director Bill Condon, along with his optional audio commentary, fans can delve deeper into the epic series they adore.
I thought it was obvious that there was going to be an extended version, i still bought the theatrical version on release date, but i will pick this one up.
20+ minutes would be reasonable (albeit useless considering Part 1 was absolute rubbish) for an extended cut, but 8 minutes is laughable, considering how awful the pacing was.
Someone at Lionsgate musta realized they shoulda milked this teeny bopper crap for another 5 movies so this is not surprising to me. The fact that there is only 8 minutes tells me they have got some huge cajones to rip off the consumer like this.
Who would buy or watch this? I mean, if the Rifftrax (mocking-commentary by MST3K alumni) won't sync to it there should be no plausible explanation for any kind of audience, as all possible entertainment is thrown out the window without it.
I love these movies but I'm not buying this again for 8 mins! Now I might buy a nice film collection set when it's all done but I'm not adding this to my collection! Just seems pointless!
@Boothill Gunslinger - don't be such a jerk. it's completely ridiculous how a girl can watch something that's "for guys" and they don't get any sort of flack for it but a guy can watch something that isn't "manly" and they're pretty much called gay and anything else derogatory. people watch what they watch, grow up. You've got plenty of "girly" movies too, so you have no room to talk about it.
