Lionsgate Films and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced today that they are partnering to provide 3D offerings of popular theatrical titles for the home entertainment market. The announcement was made at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
The first films to be converted in 3D, utilizing Samsung's proprietary 3D image processing technology, will be Gamer, Crank, and Bangkok Dangerous, as well
as the horror thriller hit The Descent.
There were three times as many 3D enabled Blu-ray releases in 2012 than in 2011, while 3D television households nearly doubled from 3.5 million in 2011 to an estimated 6.4 million in 2012.
These are popular titles?
Really I mean Crank yeah has a cult sort of semi popular following but beyond that lol. well if they are priced right then I will see about it.
Its lionsgate they have been great with their 3D pricing lately especially with that Spy Kids 3D/SHarkboy lava Girl 3D double feature so pretty good chance these will be reasonablt priced.
