Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have released a new trailer for writer/director Brian Helgeland's 42, starring Harrison Ford, Chadwick Boseman, Christopher Meloni, Alan Tudyk and Ryan Merriman. The powerful true story of baseball player Jackie Robinson makes its debut in U.S. theaters on April 12, 2013.
42 follows Jackie Robinson as he breaks Major League Baseball's color barrier upon joining the roster of the Brooklyn Dodgers. The film also features performances by Meloni as Dodgers skipper Leo Durocher, John C. McGinley as sportscaster Red Barber, T. R. Knight as sportswriter turned Dodgers secretary Harold Parrott, Lucas Black as shortstop Pee Wee Reese and Nicole Beharie as Robinson's wife, Rachel Isum
