The UK branch of Universal Studios will bring to Blu-ray The Man with the Iron Fists (2012). Directed and written by RZA and presented by Quentin Tarantino, The Man with the Iron Fists will be available in standard Blu-ray and SteelBook editions. Street date is April 1.
Starring Academy Award winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator, American Gangster), Lucy Liu (Kill Bill Vol.1), and RZA (Wu-Tang Clan, American Gangster), The Man with the Iron Fists unrated extended edition includes jaw-dropping martial arts action that you couldn't see in theaters. The film also stars mixed martial arts fighter Dave Bautista (6-Time WWE champion, Scorpion King 3), Rick Yune (The Fast and the Furious) Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch, The Hangover Part II), Cung Le (Pandorum) and Byron Mann.
I saw the covers, and thought of actually getting the steelbook. Then I saw 'THE Uk branch' and instantly went back to dull mode. I should have known better.
Meh, buy the US blu-ray and the UK steelbook, plop the US blu into the UK steelbook, sell the UK disc in the US blu-ray box, and you're good to go! ;-p Seriously though, that is a nice looking Steelbook... very Criterion-esque art on the front.
