"Nominated for Best Animated Feature"...not at the Oscars! Though, it should have been! An awesome animated film, already pre-ordered the 3D version!!!
did not see it yet it look's cool but really different from kind of anamation film i have seen ,to me i thought this was a holiday film ,but who know's maybe it's not just a holiday film .
I can't believe this didn't get an Oscar Nomination yet got a Golden Globe nomination and won the Annie Award for best animated feature. Shame on you Oscars!
@El Baz It didn't win any Annie Awards, since those haven't been give out yet. It has nominations, but has not won anything yet. Annie Awards aren't until the first week in Feb.
The animation was incredible. Some amazing 3D effects too. But I just couldn't take serious of Santa and Bunny holding weapons. Still worth seeing for animation alone. Maybe I will be more accepting on my second viewing.
The blurb is misleading...Rise was not nominated for a Best Animated Feature Oscar. It was nominated by the Annie Awards (along with seven other films), but lost to Wreck-It Ralph.
