Disney announced today that a new sneak peek for director Gore Verbinski's highly anticipated new project, The Lone Ranger (2013), will be revealed on Sunday, February 3, during the CBS Super Bowl Pre-Game Show. The film, which teams up Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, Tom Wilkinson, Helena Bonham Carter, and Barry Pepper, is set to open in theaters across the United States on July 3rd.
Official synopsis: From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films' The Lone Ranger, a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

It looks really awesome and then it looks really kiddy friendly. Also Depp and Carter in ANOTHER movie together, this time Burton isn't even the director? People are used to it. It makes money I guess.
Seeing "Disney" next to the title makes it look less exciting too. This will no doubt be a PG-13 film but if it was an R rated film and aimed moreso at adults only, this would be amazing.
