Independent British distributors 88 Films have revealed that they are planning to bring to Blu-ray director Albert Pyun's horror fantasy film Dollman (1991), starring Tim Thomerson, Jackie Earle Haley, and Kamala Lopez. The preliminary release date set by the distributors is June 10th.
While on a cosmic head hunt, intergalactic super-cop Brick Bardo (Tim Thomerson) crash-lands in the Bronx. Though regular sized on his own planet, he finds himself just over a foot tall on Earth. But that doesn't stop Brick, and soon he is bringing street gangs to justice while pursuing his original quarry.
Now THIS is a movie I would like to see remade with today's technology! Total Recall shouldn't have been touched. A remake of Dollman, however, would benefit highly from CGI and Green Screen.
