Troma Entertainment will release a combo pack edition of Drew Bolduc and Dan Nelson's The Taint (2010), starring Drew Bolduc, Colleen Walsh, and Cody Crenshaw. The preliminary release date set by the studio is March 12th.
The water is tainted. The Taint poisons the minds of men. It turns them into raging misogynists: monsters who want nothing more than to crush women's heads with rocks (or other objects). When society is transformed into a land of sadistic violence and horrible brutality, it is up to Phil O'Ginny and his hot friend, Misandra, to combat the horrible evil that is The Taint. Can they survive in a world brimming with castration and endless head crusing?!
Very cool. Own all of Troma's self-released and licensed blurays so far (with the exception of Father's Day, for the fact that they botched it and released the incorrect cut of the film).
This is one of those movies that one can love AND hate at the same time. Waaay too much fake cock for me, but unlike a lot of the SyFy variety "we can't even say we're doing it for the paycheck" DTV movies, the creators at least go.. urm.. "balls to wall" when making this. Even so, you have to hand it to Bolduc for his kick-a$$ soundtrack and company logo opener (for those who've seen it, does it not include EVERY cheesy 80's FX you can think of in less than 10 seconds?).
