Epic International Trailer

Posted March 11, 2013 07:59 PM by Webmaster

20th Century FoxTwentieth Century Fox has released a new international trailer for Chris Wedge's forthcoming animated feature Epic, which will arrive in cinemas on May 24th. Produced by the creators of Ice Age and Rio, Epic will reveal a hidden world unlike any other in an all new 3D CG action-adventure comedy.

Epic tells the story of a battle raging all around us between the forces of good, who protect nature, and the forces of evil, who wish to see it destroyed. When a teen age girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and unique characters to save their world...and ours.

Can Blue Sky titles get any more generic and cliche-ridden? The Avatar still (above) alone is cringeworthy.

Why all the hate for something that hasn't even come out?

When did all the haters forget that movies are for ENTERTAINMENT. Does every aspect of a movie need to be ripped to shreds before it is even released. Opinions are one thing, social media hate is another.

Looks like it could be enjoyable, but May is a pretty busy month for movies so this will have to be a rental.

The basic premise seems to be very much the same as "Ferngully" with a gender switch. I guess I'm getting too old for this kind of stuff, it all seems the same to me and the jokes aren't funny anymore.

@jaaguir: Man, you ARE getting old! Maybe it's time for you to watch "On Golden Pond" every day for the rest of your existence.
