2 Guns Trailer

Posted March 29, 2013 04:08 PM by Webmaster

Universal 100thUniversal Pictures has released the first trailer for acclaimed Icelandic director Baltasar Kormákur's upcoming crime drama 2 Guns (2013), starring Denzel Washington, Mark Wahlberg, Paula Patton, Bill Paxton, and Edward James Olmos. The film is set to open in theaters across the United States on August 2.

Official synopsis: Based on Steven Grant's graphic novel. Academy Award winner Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg lead an all-star cast in 2 Guns, an explosive action film that tracks two operatives from competing bureaus who are forced on the run together. But there is a big problem with their unique alliance: Neither knows that the other is an undercover federal agent.

Note: Baltasar Kormákur's previous films, The Deep (2012), was selected to represent Iceland at the 85th Academy Awards.

That was hilarious! Love Denzel Washington movies and this one seems to have a great sense of humor in it. That last line killed me. Can't wait to see it in theaters.

2 should be "two".
Unless it's a number like on a baseball jersey or a house number...etc, all numbers, between one and ten, should be written out.

I love Denzel too but I hope there is more to this than car chases/crashes, explosions and endless automatic weapon fire. Really today's film makers need to take a step back and examine some of the older action / drama classics and rediscover what really creates tension and realism.
