Criterion will be doing it, they soft announced it in a recent article, as well as teased it in their New Year's art. They should be announcing it, as well as the highly rumored "Scanners", sometime in the coming months.

@ redrunner97

Yea, I did hear some scuttlebutt about that, good to hear that it's likely that Criterion will do it. Naked Lunch, The Brood and Scanners all in the same year would be pretty sweet.

I'm assuming this will use the same transfer as the recent Australian release, although the extras are different. But if Criterion are releasing it, I'll go for their version.

Great news! Now bring "Rabid", "Shivers" and "Dead Ringers".

I just watched this last night on my old MGM dvd. Fantastic film that would be a great addition to the Criterion collection.

It's o.k. but I'd rather have 'It's Alive'.
