Tough one. Extraterrestrial. Family friendly. And something that hasn't come to BD yet, to make it worth mentioning, since the likelihood of winning is, while much better than the lottery, still rather slim. I think I'll go with Disney's The Kid. For the supernatural element, which could be considered extraterrestrial.
Or does The Legend of Bagger Vance count? Seems a lot of "family friendly" flicks are getting PG13 ratings these days. And the angelic angle could easily be labeled extraterrestrial.
Oooo. How about Roswell? Definitely extraterrestrial. And as it aired on broadcast TV, not cable, it should be fairly kid friendly. It's even about older kids.
Casper might fit the bill too. I tend to think of spirits that haven't moved on, as more terrestrial in nature, but who really knows.
