Disney Reveals Future Blu-ray Titles

Bill it at it once again, and he has posted some inside information regarding upcoming Disney Blu-ray titles over at The Digital Bits. In addition to the previously announced upcoming Blu-ray titles, including 'Gangs of New York' that was announced yesterday, Disney is planning to bring both 'Nixon: Election Year Edition' and 'Good Will Hunting' to Blu-ray later this year.
For 2009, the company is currently planning 'Kill Bill 1 & 2' and 'Finding Nemo' for Blu-ray release. 'Kill Bill' will likely not be presented as "The Whole Bloody Affair", a version of the film that director Quentin Tarantino has discussed on many occasions as the uninterrupted cut of 'Kill Bill'. That version of the film will most likely have to be released theatrically first, of which there are currently no plans to do so.
You will also notice that the once "Spring 2008" and "Fall 2008" title 'Finding Nemo' has been bumped to 2009. While this is thoroughly disappointing to most fans, Disney will be releasing another Pixar catalog title along with the Blu-ray release of 'WALL-E' this Fall, which is to be released theatrically June 27th.
All these titles should be considered rumors until official dates are released by the studio.

Toy Story 1 & 2 always come out together, that's the tradition--
That leaves only Incredibles and A Bug's Life, although Incredibles is farther up on the short-list. |

Sorry, but it won't be Toy Story folks, since they're saving both 1 and 2 to be released with the New Toy Story 3 (3-D) theatrical release. My money is on the Incredibles, which I'll be more than happy with on Blu in the meantime! |

I'm guessing (and hoping) The Incredibles will be the Pixar catalog title coming with Wall-E. They'll save Monsters, Inc. for next year to bundle with Up (both Pete Docter films) and Toy Story/Toy Story2 for 2010 to bundle with Toy Story 3. |
