Wow, you guys are so lucky. In Europe, they release no old Muppet movies at all. (and a gigantic list of other titles...*sigh*..)

They're all out now...

Muppet Movie
Muppets Take Manhatten
Great Muppet Caper
Muppet Christmas Carol
Muppet Treasure Island
Muppets from Space
The Muppets

I'm ignoring It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas movie, A Muppet Christmas - Letters to Santa & Muppet's Wizard of Oz.

And Muppets Most Wanted because that's not even been in Cinemas yet.

I would rather have Caper released by itself, but it is what it is...
Caper hold a special place in my heart, as its one of the first films I saw in a theater as a child, we also still have a few of the Caper glasses they sold at McD's back when the film was released.

I'm so nervous about Disney scrubbing these, especially after this week's release of Sword in the Stone. Please, can we get a respectable transfer for the Muppet movies! We'll know as soon as Tuesday when The Muppet Movie comes out. Surprised we haven't seen a review for that here yet. Can't wait/nervous!

Really pleased that Muppet Treasure Island is getting released One of my favourite Muppet films and it's even better when packed with Great Muppet Caper. Shame we haven't had any released in the UK yet so just have to keep importing.

I just hope that they are on two separate disk. Also waiting to see what extras the movies will have. Most likely a Day one purchase.

I hope the bluray for the Muppet Treasure Island comes with all the features from the DVD releases, mainly the commentary and featurettes. The Great Muppet Caper unfortunately had only a couple of Muppetism featurettes and bios on the 2001 & 2005 DVD's. All I can say is 2 of my favorites (All the films are my favorites though) are coming in high definition so i'm stoked!

I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling this will follow the same outline as previous Disney 2-movie combo packs with both on one Bd with no special features...

I don't see why they didn't release them all individually and then box them all together in a pre 2011 anthology like batman and superman.

Terrible news for old school Muppets fans. Muppet Treasure Island is garbage. The Great Muppet Caper should be a stand alone release.

Are you kidding me Disney?!?! I'm fine with the 2 pack collections for the animated features and their less attractive sequels- but these Muppet movies deserve their own releases. Caper is by far my favorite Muppet film and one of my all time favorite movies period. It deserved its own special release as it's Jim Henson's first and only Muppet film he directed. I'll probably buy this, but I'm having faith they get it right and release them both separately.

This just seems like an odd combination to me. Granted they are both Muppet movies, but these don't go together at all.

I'm on the same boat as everyone here. These should each get their own release, especially Caper. But I'll grab it anyway just to have Caper on blu and Tim Curry as Long John Silver.

*Man crashes into trash cans, Oscar The Grouch appears*

Man: "What are you doing here?"

Oscar: "A very brief cameo.."
