Warner Bros. has issued a theatrical trailer for director Peter Segal's Grudge Match, which stars Sylvester Stallone (Rocky), Robert De Niro (Raging Bull), Alan Arkin (Argo), Kevin Hart (This Is the End), Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead) and Kim Basinger (L.A. Confidential). The boxing comedy is set to arrive in U.S. theaters on Christmas Day, December 25th.
Synopsis: Two retired boxers -- Billy "The Kid" McDonnen (De Niro) and Henry "Razor" Sharp (Stallone) -- have a thirty year-old grudge which has never subsided. The cause of their bad blood? Razor retired the night before a crucial title match, destroying both mens' careers in the process. Time passes. One boxer becomes a rich playboy, the other lives a modest life. Now they have an opportunity to even the score with one last match.
Grudge Match is directed by Peter Segal (Get Smart, 50 First Dates), from a screenplay credited to Doug Ellin (Entourage), Tim Kelleher (In Living Color) and Rodney Rothman (Committed), and with original music by Trevor Rabin (Hot Fuzz).
