Hopefully since Shout/Scream Factory acquired Cat People, they can release a Region A version of Streets of Fire as well.

Hopefully the transfers will look good. Buying a Koch Media release is always a bit risky. You either get really good releases like Koch's Videodrome, Inferno or Howard the Duck. Or you get utterly disappointed and regret your purchase. Koch's release of Lawless was one of those cases.

As eager as I am to bitch about yet another American film (by Walter Hill, no les; how much more American can you get?!) being denied an American release (ya know, because Universal is too busy reissuing a bluray of...Love Actually. Fuck off!) I nonetheless take comfort in the very fact that, somewhere, at least, it is finally coming to the format, which, as mentioned, will hopefully beckon the attention of a 'we-actually-care' studio like Shout.

So, yeah, time will tell.

"Strassen un Flammen" is definitely a better-sounding title.

Now the Shout release of Cat People has increased by $ 6 (5.99 to be exact) to $ 26.94. I am so fed up! Now I will probably have to get the Koch release which is just €13.99. One has to place a firm order for everything immediately, but with shipping to Europe expensive as it is one needs to get more than just one piece in a shipment.
