Cloverfield Blu-ray Gets Detailed

Official specs on the Blu-ray release of the J.J. Abrams-Produced film 'Cloverfield' are in from Paramount. As hoped by many, this Blu-ray release will include full 1080p video as well as Dolby TrueHD audio. Video codec information is currently unavailable from Paramount. Additionally, this release features an exclusive Blu-ray-only feature in the so-called "Special Investigation Mode." Sounding much like a trivia track, this feature provides the viewer with tidbits of information on the film as the story unfolds.

postponed and were getting cloverfield first. funny how things turn out. |

I know the shaky camera thing is part of the plot and a necessary thing, but I am just completely turned off from owning this because of it. It's a great movie but I would not want to sit through the headache-inducing movie again. |

I believe this was filmed using HD cameras, so it should look amazing. I wasnt turned off by the shaky camera, in fact if we would have gotten a regular movie, it would have been another monster movie, however the way it was film it made it different, new with a feeling that you are there, i can understand some people dont like it, my wife didnt (shaky camera). But im lined up to get this baby as well as TWBB |

I saw this twice in the theaters. The shaky cam wasn't as bad the second time.
