Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has established a replacement program for consumers encountering audio and other quality issues with Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Complete Season 5. The replacement is also available to those who purchased the Seasons 1-5 Collector's Edition who are seeking resolution to these same issues.
To receive a replacement disc, simply call Warner Home Video's customer service help line at 1-800-553-6937 and speak with a live representative. Discs 1 & 2 are eligible for the replacement program, although some members are reporting that only Disc 2 is initially being offered; further discussion with a customer service rep is reportedly required to successfully receive both discs.
I am not even sure if I encountered this issue. It kind of felt like dialogue wasn't totally lining up with characters' lips, but if that is the case it was barely noticeable. i was even wondering if that's just how the animation is. :S
gr8 news 4 those who purchased from day 1!!! so the really big question is when will the corrected boxsets b put out 4 sale? & r there still those "problem" sets still out there still available for sale or will they b pulled immedi8ly???
I couldn't detect a sync problem watching the youtube video on my laptop either. But I don't think a battle scene with constant laser fire and dialogue mostly from helmet wearing troopers and robots that don't have mouths a very good choice for demoing the problem. But, I guess I need to prioritize watching the last season soon, so I can trade it in if it's defective. I preordered my copy, so I assume I'm more likely to have one of the bad ones. Glad someone pointed it out, otherwise I might not have paid it too much attention, as sync issues are still rather common in TV productions today. They're much more noticable when viewing on a 100 inch screen than the more typical 30-50 inch consumer displays the production of tv shows are primarily concerned with.
Got my replacement today of Disc 2 of Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 5 on Blu-Ray Disc. The one with the corrected audio for the episodes The Lawless and Missing in Action. Good good on Lucasfilm / Warner Home Video's part to send those replacement blu-ray disc's out. Audio is good as new and no longer out of sync.
