Certainly hope we're not going to get A Trip to the Moon treatment on the Mutuals.

TJS, what was wrong with the 'A Trip to the Moon' treatment. Haven't seen the blu ray, but was of the understanding that the restoration was really good for it.

@lefty - strictly a value judgement on a 15 minute short (with an excellent set of supplements) with a msrp of nearly 60 bucks. I won't be buying 12 discs of Mutuals @ sale price of 30 bucks each when there's a Spanish release with all of the Mutuals selling for 18 euros.

god I can't imagine how much a Flicker Alley steelbook would be--like $100 maybe.

Wait and see on the specs but the American Avant Garde set could be amazing.

Re Trip To The Moon they did a fine job, and those sorts of restorations aren't cheap. Tired of the mindset the big retIailers have fostered where nothing should cost more than $10.

I am interested in The Adventurer, but it seems strange that they would release each Chaplin short individually. Would like to get a set similar to the one Kino put out for the Keaton shorts.

Nice to see two more Cinerama titles added to the list. I'll probably be getting Seven Wonders just for the spectacle, this is if funds allow at time of release.

Regarding the Mutuals - Per David Shepard - "It will be a 5-disc box set in a steelcase. 2 Blu-Ray discs and 2 DVDs of the twelve comedies and a new documentary on Chaplin's beginnings and the restorations." Might be a while as they are waiting on Easy Street & The Rink from Italy.
