New Extended Trailer: The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Sony PicturesSony Pictures has released a new extended "Enemies Unite" trailer for director Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field, Felicity Jones and B.J. Novak. The film is scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters on May 2nd.

Synopsis: We've always known that Spider-Man's most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. For him, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

That trailer gives away what happens to Gwen Stacey in this film. If you know spiderman comic then its obvious.

you have a point but that would be one of the worst decisions they could ever make! im no purist but thats a classic moment and alot have people have been waiting to see it braught to life, im not worried though as Emma Stone has said **SPOILER** that they will follow Gwens story arc as close to the comics as humanly possible.

In the words of Jim Carrey's Riddler, "You were sup-POSED to under-STAND!"
(And yes, Electro in the comics got his powers from an accident, but let's not get all Richard Pryor/Superman III about it.)

The brief shots of the New Rhino suit attack were more interesting, not only that they didn't have Paul Giamatti in them.
And yes, nice to see Harry Osborne back to being an evil snot again.

since we're filming on 35mm film as opposed to the digital 3D setup of the Red Epic, who is going to be on the 2D-3D conversion for this film for its 3D version as far as the company, since SPI is returning to have the CGI rendered in native 3D?
