Blu-ray Transformers is Coming!

The folks at TVShowsonDVD.com have the inside scoop on one of the biggest blockbuster hits of last year finally making its way to Blu-ray. According to their sources, 'Transformers' will finally be arriving for Blu-ray on September 2nd. The release is expected to mirror the previous HD DVD release (minus the glitches, of course).
Nothing is official at this point, but we'll keep you posted as more information surfaces.

It's going to be the "exact" release as on HD-DVD. I hate it when they give the 'nothing is official at this moment' crap when they already what the story is. It's so friggin lame. |

Thank-you Paramount for switching away long enough to keep me from wasting $30 on this crap title. You did me a favor, and now you're back. Had you not switched, I would have been suckered into buying this. |

I have it on HD-DVD and won't buy it on Blu until it comes with lossless audio. PCM or similar should me MANDATORY for every Blu-ray release now that it is the winning HD format. |

Great news! I bet it'll be PCM audio with a higher bandwidth for video codec compare to HD-DVD allowing better Picture Quality... One of the main complaints I have on the HD-DVD transfer was the dark scenes, some parts looked horrible and grainy. Hopefully that will be cleared up on the Blu-ray version. |

I hope they fixed the various sound issues that the HD DVD version had. Many found the LFE channel to be inconsistant. I thought that some of the scenes should have had more punch then they did and others seemed to have a little to much. Truly excited about this release. |
