I really wish all studios would do this with their 3D releases. Do a 3D blu-ray/blu-ray and digital copy version... That's it. We don't need a dvd copy included as well. Except for kids movies...

I'll get it for sure when the price goes below $9.99.

@Blackcauldron - unless the 3D/2D set is the same price as a 2D only set, then they should keep doing 2D as well because not everybody's buying into that fade.

not the first time Lionsgate has done this, they only released a 3D/2D combo pack of Step Up 4.

Does the film jump up and down all the way through or just the trailer?

Looks cool. Not as cool as Underworld, but I'll rent it. Wish it had a different leading man, though -- I've never been impressed with that guy.

I buy 3D/2D combos for a reason, to save on the 2D standalone money wise (as they each have their own different ways of choosing a version of itself to watch).

Legend of Hercules was announced for this type of combo previously, as this type of combo lets you save and make a great investment as it is a benefit for both parties.

I read on to 3D or not to 3D that there was for this title an issue with Prime Focus's 2D-ViewD 3D conversion process in that the left eye was not involved in the conversion and was blacked out due to issues in selected projectors, the conversion exists off the right eye in the ViewD process that was used on this title.

you all need to be careful if you purchase this title for 3D TV's if you own 3D TV's (i know a majority of members here do own this type of display).
