Road Rage: The Blood, Sweat and Gears of Joy Ride 3
Why does Fox keep releasing crap on blu ray? Where is The Abyss or True Lies? We want killer movies with killer soundtracks. Not junk released direct to video. I would LOVE Fox to spend some money and release those 4K restorations of the Die Hard films. They looked great at the multiplex movie marathon awhile back, but they release the same transfers with new packaging. Cheap.
Yeah, the first one is almost a classic of the genre but I didn't even know they made a second one! No interest in seeing this one. It does have a lot of special features though for a run of the mill DTV title...
I agree, they should at least have the courtesy to release part two at the same time, as I would imagine anyone interested in 3 will have liked 2. Personally, I don't remember ever seeing or hearing about the first sequel either. But if it was dtv, it probably flew under my radar. Paul Walker and Steve Zahn practically made the first film what it was. Promoting this as coming from the director of the latest Wrong Turn dtv sequels isn't exactly encouraging either.
You can't blame Fox on True Lies or The Abyss though. Those delays are on Cameron from what I've been told. They should be worth the wait at least, should he actually get around to them in BD's lifetime.
