Paramount Launches Blu-ray Support Site

Posted June 12, 2008 08:42 AM by Josh Dreuth

ParamountParamount Home Entertainment has launched a support website for their Blu-ray disc releases. Similar to what they had for their HD DVD releases, the site talks about what Blu-ray is, current and upcoming releases from the studio, and general tech support for existing Paramount Blu-ray releases.

The site is a little barren right now, with many features saying "Coming Soon", but we expect Paramount to soon populate this page and make it their primary source to connecting with Blu-ray fans. Additionally, you can expect this website to be the primary link on future Paramount BD-Live titles.

The website can be found at ParamountBlu-ray.com.

absolute rubbish website, its basically a complete copy of the hd dvd site without the content. theyve still got all the original alt tags for example: <img width="1024" height="100" border="0" alt="Paramount HD DVD Support" src="images/menu_nav/top_header_1.jpg"/>

Pretty much the slop job that we have been used to from Paramount for quite some time. A blu ray logo which shows the HD-DVD slogan when you however over it. The idiots should be sued.

Yeah, if you hover over the words "ABOUT BLU-RAY" in the top left corner, it says "About HD DVD". What a joke.

^^^ Yeah... that's right... Sue them, for not updating their site fast enough, and using the logos they hold rights to use..... They're in the process of creating the site, what do you expect? They don't even need to make this site.... the site will be used for current and upcoming releases, as it says.... which is basically a marketing tool for Paramount... Sue them.... who's the idiot here???

This website looks so cheap and ... lacklustre, it's almost pathetic...

Sorry if this sounds rude....

Beta man, I posted about Paramount. I did not insult a poster on this forum. You however, directly insulted other people in this forum. So to answer your question, the idiot around here seems to be you.

As for "not updating their site fast enough". Total bullshit. The released a slopjob. They had plenty of time to get such simple things right before they released it. Having a HD-DVD slogan on a Blu-ray logo is actually a copyright offence but I guess you're too stupid to understand that.

If they do this kind of slopjob on the site one wonders how much of a slopjob they do with the DVD's. Considering Paramounts previous record of screwing their Franchises, one wonders.

Just to clarify, I of course ment BD's and not DVD's in my previous post. Considering the level of the post I was replying to, I guess there is plenty of room for "missunderstandings".
