Paramount Pictures has released a new "Payoff" trailer for director Michael Bay's highly anticipated Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), starring Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Abigail Klein, Sophia Myles, Kelsey Grammer, Bingbing Li, Stanley Tucci, T. J. Miller, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Titus Welliver and Victoria Summer. The film is set to open in U.S. theaters on June 27th.
Synopsis: Earth has nearly recovered from the great war between the Autobots and Decepticons. As humanity picks up the pieces, a shadowy group reveals itself in an attempt to control the direction of history, while an ancient, powerful new menace sets Earth in its crosshairs. But when Cade Yeager (Wahlberg) finds Optimus Prime, he earns the attention of the US government and the Decepticons. Soon Optimus Prime must align with the Dinobots to save Earth from extinction, ultimately leading to a climactic battle across the world.
In this new trailer i really like the htz sound they give off .It's for the subwoofer you cna tell hit's a hertz reading.Because it goes from a high pitch bas sound to a really low 20htz sound that you feel when listing it on your surround sound system. My svs PB13 ultra is going to sound fantastic when i get it in a few more month's.
Bluray king you will love the pb13 ultra. Had mine for almost 5 years now. Too bad they do not have the rosenut color any longer. Hopefully this is better than the last 3 movies. But taking place on Earth again? I think a Transformers movie should take place in their universe with absolutely no human beings. They can take place on Cybertron which used to be Primus, or Quintessa, Unicron, Chaar, Antilla, Centaris Seven, and Junkion. There is over 100 planets in the Transformers universe. There are planets where plants eat metal and ones where animals eat metal, rust diseases, all kinds of ideas to use. Why take place on Earth again, oh because we have to show humans running around in fear. Stupid. I could make a Transfomers movie where people would actually care about the robots, like some of us did in Generation 1.
Look, we were all fooled by awesome looking trailers in the past. This one's no different. No thanks, I'm not going to see this movie. Michael Bay is a talentless hack and he'll always be known for destroying the childhood of every person who grew up in the 80s.
It's not that I expect all movies to be like they were when I was growing up. I'm just sick of getting the feeling that everything these days is made for the sole purpose of mass marketing and making money, as opposed to good, quality storytelling+entertainment. It's lazy filmmaking. They hire a hack director who can halfway decently shoot an action scene, throw some no-name actors or actors who are looking for a big paycheck in front of a green screen, then spend the lion's share of the budget on the guys who really make the movie......the CGI artists.
Damn it, just because it's "summertime" doesn't mean everything has to be bombastic and dumb. When I was growing up, these movies were just as action-filled and thrilling AND they told good stories and made you care about the characters. Almost every movie now is heartless and only cares about how much CGI and 3D they can cram in. EYE CANDY is right. That's all these damn movies are about now.
