Arrow: The Complete Second Season Blu-ray

Posted June 11, 2014 03:31 AM by Webmaster

Warner 90th AnniversaryWarner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed the Blu-ray release of Arrow: The Complete Second Season. The popular CW series stars Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes, Manu Bennett, Susanna Thompson and Paul Blackthorne, and streets on September 16th.

Synopsis: Based on the DC Comics "Green Arrow" superhero comic book series, Arrow has been reinvented for a modern day audience. Starling City has been torn apart by the Undertaking, so the need for the hooded vigilante -- now known as The Arrow -- is more urgent than ever. After retreating to the island on which he was once stranded, Oliver Queen (Amell) returns to protect his mother, sister and besieged company but comes to realize that allies and enemies have switched sides, and the stranglehold of evil on family, friends and city is diabolically linked to his fateful shipwreck. A once-tight comrade-at-arms and a strength-enhancing, yet mind-warping serum may prove to be the mightiest adversaries The Arrow has ever encountered. Can justice find its target in this 23-episode season? Or will all fall before the fury of Deathstroke?

The Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet Combo Pack release of Arrow: The Complete First Season features 23 episodes spread across four BD-50 discs, 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround track, DVD and UltraViolet copies of the entire season, and the following extras:
  • From Vigilante to Green Arrow
  • How Did They Do That?! Action & FX
  • Wirework: The Impossible Moves of Arrow
  • Select Episode Commentaries
  • Deleted Scenes
  • Gag Reel

SO very excited to replay this latest season, it was everything season 1 was times 10. Can't imagine what they've got in store for season 3 to up the ante, especially with the "Flash" spinoff premiering this Fall too :-D Day 1 buy for this guy!!!

I'll skip this release in September and get the eventual BD only release around Feb-March just like they did with Season 1. I like the slimmer look and less space that takes, as Blu-ray is all I need.

I remember quitting this show about episode 10 of season one thinking it was merely OK.
Then I got the whole season on a black friday deal thinking if I don't like it all I'll just resell it for a profit.
Now I got hooked and loved season 2, this show turned out to be a LOT of fun

Why do they put DVD's on it. Crap.
When i buy the blu ray i couldn't give a rats ass about DVD. Now all i need to hear is the release date for Person of Interest s3 and supernatural s9 from Warner

This show is AMAZING. Snagged season 1 on Black Friday after watching the pilot on Netflix. Caught up on the whole show in less then two months. Emily Bett Rickards is fantastic. I then met Manu Bennett at a convention last month. Super nice guy. Very respectful of his success and the hard work and culture of others.

There are a couple aspects of season two I didn't think were very strong, but still a wildly entertaining show. Since I've just seen it all, I might wait for a sale, but I will need to add this to my collection.

That photo doesn't represent Felicity at all. They just had to "sex" her up.

@mredman - figured they wouldn't want Arrow being clogged with a bunch of other shows info, so...
