I will probably add this movie in Blu, as it's the only one worth watching from Shyamalan, IMO.

PCM is intresting. Wonder if Disney is going back to PCM or it was the transfer was done a while ago.

The Happening ruined almost all of his movies for me. After that, even this movie that I thought I liked has a light shown on it. That light shows how much M. Night doesn't know how to tell a story. Although I was never a huge fan of this film, I don't think I could watch it again after seeing his later films. Unbreakable only for me.

I'll definately get this one. Big fan of 6th Sense, Unbreakable and Signs. All the others are OK.....haven't see The Happening and was hoping it was good but doesnt sound like it.

I agree that some of his movies aren't that great, but I thought 6th Sense and Unbreakable were great, and they're both available on Blu-Ray. Nice to see that at least their prioritizing the good ones first.

The only M Night Shyamalan movie that I wasn't a huge fan of was The Happening. To me, most people don't understand his movies. They completely miss the point and think that it's only about the twist or it's only supposed to be a horror film when they're really not.

Clayton is right on. People don't "get" his movies. After the 6th sense they expect horror movies. He is not a horror director. The purpose of his films isn't even purely for suspense. They are meant to "tell a story" and have some revelatory plot twists as well. Signs, Lady in the Water, Sixth Sense, and Unbreakable all do this wonderfully.

And don't forget The Village did it wonderfully as well.

I'll be adding this to my collection as well. Plus, PCM to boot. And it's one of my favorite M. Night Shyamalan's movie, next to "Unbreakable".

Discuss Village and Happening all you want, but if Night really *is* a "one-film wonder"...6S was the ONE FILM.

As much as "Unbreakable" wasn't bad either, 6S was the movie in which everything he wanted to do clicked for once, and raised our expectations. And the same goes for Bruce Willis performances in Shamalyan films.
If it was an accident, it was one darn good accident, and EARNS its AFI neo-100 List ranking.

Knowing Disney is releasing this it should be another stellar blu-ray for video & audio. I own so many of their movies and they're ALL great!!

PS I really liked this movie but I also think Shamalyan needs to switch gears and do something different like a comedy or action movie. Even Spielberg his idol isn't a "one trick pony". Enough already with the supernatural/spiritual themes! LOL

I'm definitely a HUGE fan of this movie and the director I'm probably the only person that actually liked THE HAPPENING. But yeah between this and Unbreakable are his best films to date. I'll pick this one up first weekend its out
