Harryhausen Blu-ray Details

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the special features for the upcoming Blu-ray releases of 'The 7th Voyage of Sinbad: 50th Anniversary Edition' and 'Ray Harryhausen Giftset', both due to hit store shelves on October 7th. The collection will feature new Blu-ray releases of 'It Came From Beneath The Sea' and 'Earth vs. The Flying Saucers' along with the previously released '20 Million Miles to Earth: 50th Anniversary Edition'.
Special features for 'The 7th Voyage of Sinbad' include:
- Audio Commentary with Ray Harryhausen, visual effects experts Phil Tippett and Randall William Cook, author Steven Smith and producer Arnold Kunert
- Featurette: Remembering The 7th Voyage of Sinbad
- Featurette: The Harryhausen Legacy
- Featurette: The Music of Bernard Herrmann
- Music Video: Sinbad May Have Been Bad, But He's Been Good To Me
- Photo Gallery
- Featurette: A Look Behind the Voyage (includes interview footage)
- Featurette: This is Dynamation (Special Effects)
- Featurette: Ray Harryhausen Interview by Director John Landis
For 'It Came From Beneath the Sea', supplemental features include:
- Audio Commentary by Ray Harryhausen, visual effects artists Randall William Cook and John Bruno, and producer Arnold Kunert

I already have the 20 Million Miles BD so I'm really disapointing that only a boxset will be available... 
So no buy for me unless I can buy the other two separately. |

So The ABOVE is NOT clear. You have to buy the DVD set to get all the films? Or can you buy them as singles? Can anyone clear this up? |

you do the right thing and support the format (buying 20 Million Miles) and now you're rewarded by a boxed set that doesn't give you the option of buying the discs seperately.
I would like having the other films but fuggeddaboutit-- I am NOT double dipping with this format-- I did with DVD due to upgrades in PQ quality (non 16x9 to anormorphic, etc)
but with Blu-- the picture doesn't get better later and special features are nice but not
necessary. |
