8-Mile; Jarhead; The Kingdom Scheduled for November

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring the Eminem film '8-Mile' to Blu-ray on November 18th. A week later, on November 25th, they will bring the Jake Gyllenhaal film 'Jarhead' and the Jamie Foxx film 'The Kingdom' to Blu-ray. All three will also be available as a 'Action/Thriller Bundle' that same day.
Both '8-Mile' and 'Jarhead' will come on BD-25s, while 'The Kingdom' will get BD-50 treatment. All three will feature 1080p VC-1 video accompanied by a DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.

never seen 8 mile or jarhead but will give them a rent. Kingdom was okay, and may pick it up. Not dieing for it though. It's likely something I'll pick up in the new year once I've picked up the other major releases this year. |

The Bourne DVD Set comes out 11/4. I bet the BD set shows up the same day. I can't wait for these 3 films. However, I'm still hoping the movie with that large gorilla shows up this year. |

Jarhead and The Kingdom for me.....not a big fan of 8-mile so maybe I'll trade that one away if they have the 3 pack. |

I'll eventually pick up all 3... just too broke right now.
Funny how 8 Mile made it in the 3 pack.. you would think it would be another war movie of some sort. |

I will pass on all 3 of these movies. I did not like 8 Mile or Jarhead. The Kingdom was OK, but not worth getting on Blu. I was use my money for more honorable titles. |

Re: 8 MILE. Nice to see that Universal is releasing some catalog titles they never released on HD DVD. But I do not understand why it falls into the category "Action/Thriller". I'll pu Jarhead and the Kingdom. |
